It doesn't come without risks to trust that what you really love to do will be a way to sustain a living.....

For me those risks are worth taking for the reward of sheer pleasure that I feel everytime someone buys one of my creations.

Getting my inspiration from years of travelling, exploring, living and learning in, up, down about and beyond this wonderful world....my story with creative clothing began with experimenting with making my own clothes whilst backpacking around Asia. It led on to making a few pieces to sell in markets and festivals in the UK and has taken me along a self-taught experimental journey of discovery that has become a way of life.

Everything that I have learnt about pattern making, leather and its crafting and design has all been through trial and error.....from sitting, watching and hands on practice with tailors and artisans in India.

Having an online shop has given me the opportunity to create beautiful images of my designs, I thoroughly enjoy the experience of working and learning about the world of photoshoots and fashion photography through everytime that I organise one. I have learnt everything through friends and creatives that are in the industry......and Im running the shop from wherever I am with my computer.......truly a psyber nomad!!

Keeping my business small and unique actually gives me much more pleasure as an artist than expanding into mass production......most of my material comes from surplus markets from which Im never too sure what I will find......this makes the whole process very creative and exciting each time Im making a new collection.......one of my best sellers the Lilith pleated skirt I feel has been so popular because it takes on a very different character according to the fabric from which it is made...

You can rest assured that I pay a lot of attention to quality and detail...and all my pieces I view as wearable art..an expression of my creativity.....I will go to great lengths to buy the best quality materials that I can find at the time and we sometimes spend years perfecting our patterns and the cut of clothing.

I also pride myself on my customer service.....making sure that you receive the correct size and style sometimes involves a lot of communication. I would rather take the time to make sure its right than have to deal with any returns.

If an item is delayed in the mail which thankfully doesn't happen so often.....I will also go to great lengths to track it down and make sure that it gets to your door.....To date not one item has ever got lost! fingers crossed!!

But most importantly to receive amazing feedback from happy customers really is the fuel the keeps these creative fires going......

Enchanted Clothing is definitely still a life's artwork in progress and one which I hope will continue to drive me on a journey of so much satisfaction......
